Days 46 & 48/365 I love my iced coffee and chocolate.

I am giving up chocolate for Lent so that is going to be a hard one!

Especially with all these Girl Scout cookies around here. I need to hide them in the back of my freezer.

Traveling to Holland

In May 2008 I got to take a USO trip to Holland. It was amazing! We got to see where the wooden shoes were made, the Keukenhof and took a canal tour. I have to say that Amsterdam is such an amazing city! I would love to go back and visit someday.

Photography Decisions

We moved back to the United States from Germany almost two years ago. When we did I thought that eventually I would start a portrait photography business here. I ended up getting pregnant and had my 3rd little boy. Then my husband deployed. He came home and I told myself I would start that business as soon as we hit 2012. Well 2012 is here and I am not ready. Honestly I am not sure I will ever be ready. I love to take photos. I love capturing my children and their friends with my camera. I love sharing that. At the same time I don’t want to make it into a business. I don’t want to be spending so much time on portraits that I have no time to capture the rest of it. Portraits are so lovely and I am inspired by so many that do it well. But at this time in my life that isn’t what I would like to focus on. Maybe in the future, but not right now. Right now I want to continue capturing those everyday moments. Whether it is a raindrop, my children playing or a old brick building.

What do you enjoy taking pictures of the most?
